“In Art There Are NO Mistakes; ONLY Discoveries” SNH

From 2010, CreativeKIDs has offered school holiday and after school programs for primary aged children and recently we have introduced a Pre-K Creative Playgroup called MessyMe - a supportive small group based on creative and expressive messy play and practicing the importance of whole well being, child development and parental and care giver play times.

LEGO Club was established in 2020 as a pop-up social activity for children to be apart of; 3 years later its now a fixed program in our group schedule. LEGO has been a wonderful resource for children to come together and engage alongside peers in building, communicating, and practicing team work.

ART-ee-Scape is a mixed modality of traditional and hybrid art modalities; bringing youth together exploring the physical and emotional benefits of creative ventures.

SWCP offers a range of professional services facilitated via tele-health, face to face and within communities.

Our main practice is located in Portland, Victoria with outreach services across Victoria and South Australia.

We have a generous space comprising of a fully stocked studio space and small retail area, private children’s suite and waiting room to ensure safety and comfort.

About Me

Samantha / Sami   -   She/Her

Integrative Psychotherapist

Lead Facilitator & TAE

Founder of the South West Creative Practice Company

South West Creative Practice company  is my living, breathing portfolio; a collective of 23 years across the education, community and health care industry.  I’m committed and passionate about serving the community, walking barefoot alongside our village where empathy, compassion and guidance are needed most. I have always had a passion for building connections, community and culture and empowering individuals to discover their intrinsic strengths and promoting whole wellness; body, mind, soul.

When I'm not working or creating in my studio, you'll find me reading, walking the dogs, enjoying company with my favorite people out in nature, preferably fishing or hiking.

“Working and studying in varied areas and disciplines since 2003 has long convinced me that one approach is not enough for the many issues people seek help for.  I therefore work in an integrative way which is directed by the person’s requirements and needs in finding their wholeness and well-being.”  SNH
